Long Story Vintage presents a collection of exquisite vintage frocks from 1940s-1980s

Long Story Vintage grew out of a childhood dream to discover a treasure chest of forgotten antique finery in the attic of an old house. The dream came true and turned into a collection of beautiful vintage clothing, jewellery and accessories – all hand picked on travels around the world.

Bright mini-dresses that could have been worn by Twiggy in the 'Swinging Sixties' era, romantic floral dresses from 1970s, chic tailored 1950s frocks straight out of 'Mad Men', flamboyant prints and familiar silhouettes from 1980s – all our favourite style-setting decades of the 20th century are represented in the collection.

All pieces expertly sourced from around the world, perfect condition, each unique. Fashion history ready to wear and be like no one else.

Bobbin and Bow jewellery is made by another lovely and similarly romantic girl, Karolina Merska. She says that her love for sewing and crafts was inherited from her grandmother Jadwiga - a former model and fashion designer, whose house is a full of hidden treasures: vintage bags, hats, dresses and boxes with beautiful buttons. Surrounded by such finery, it’s no wonder Karolina loves lace, pearls and sequins and her handmade line is made up of vintage finds. We love a good story, and these pieces certainly tell one very well

Porcelain bling by Schneider is a range of ceramic jewellery, combined with upcycled chunky chains, charms, brass nuts and bolts. Lightweight porcelain pieces are printed with images aesthetically relating to graffiti art, each one unique, hand printed and hand finished. Guess which mother and daughter duo specialising in trendy knitwear will be making a second appearance at My Fashion Secret Pop Up Shop?



Tricked you there :) Forget Angela and Margherita Missoni. We say that Svetlana and Iulia Filipovscaia - lovely girls behind home-baked brand Lana Siberie, are the cat's pyjamas. Knit pyjamas, no less, After presenting their winter collection at previous MFS pop-up, they've been busy knitting up a neon storm.



This Saturday 28th May our favourite mother and daughter duo Lana Siberie are back at My Fashion Secret Pop Up Shop with their a new summer collection of lightweight neon knits. Full of vibrant shades of pink, yellow, orange and grass green, it features tops, shorts, vests and hairbands - all hand knit with love and a presented with cheeky humour. Check them out!








P.S. Iulia, the daughter in the duo, is also a talented fine art photographer and has recently staged a successful pop-up exhibition of her prints entitled 'The Other Half' . Watch this space, as Iulia's first 'Coup D'etat' got quite a cult following with art lovers eager to host her spontaneous exhibits in their flats, country houses, gardens and basements. Hot Young Designer: Sarmite Ostanevica joins MFS

Latvian-born designer Sarmite Ostanevica has made a name for herself at Riga Fashion Week and scored a sponsorship from Doc Martens to showcase her SS11 collection. Now living and working in London, she is one of the brightest stars to come out of the Baltic fashion scene.

Not a great believer in formal education, Sarmite has become an expert in constructing garments and bringing a fresh new perspective to tried-and-tested styles. Eschewing bright colours and over-the-top embellishments, her signature is in subtle detailing on sharp modern silhouettes.

For SS11 Sarmire Ostanevica re-worked the idea of army uniforms and added a welcome twist of elegant femininity. With subtle references to the cool sophistication of Burberry mixed in with a bit of Balenciaga's edge the collection has gone beyond the usual military references. Cue structured slim tailoring on chic separates and bias-cut garments in a parade of cream, beige and green linens and cottons.

Whilst researching for the collection, Sarmite tells us she enjoyed the challenge of transforming the often-masculine themes into feminine pieces. No mean feat, especially with dresses, but the results speak for themselves – less army girl, more urban sophisticate.

Sarmite liked playing with transforming masculine staples into desirable womenswear so much that this theme resurfaces again in her AW11 collection. Entitled ‘Interview’, it takes inspiration from the modern career women - strong, confident and independent.

Traditional suiting fabrics, associated with menswear, are given Sarmite’s signature treatment. Wool and cottons in neutral shades are spliced and artfully draped on dresses, capes and pin-stripe trousers. Hot Young Designer: Anna Lee joins MFS

We are very excited to welcome another Hot Young Designer fresh from London Fashion Week. Please give it up for ANNA LEE, who will join us on Sat 28 May at My Fashion Secret Pop Up Shop

Anna’s biography and list of achievements is a testament to her talent and hard work. Originally hailing from Russia, where she’s spent a few years perfecting her drawing technique at St Petersburg University, Anna then honed her graphic and cutting skills to perfection at De Montfort University in Leicester. Add to that a successful stint developing prints for catwalk collections at Alexander McQueen– and that’s one remarkable CV and a whole lot of confidence for a young designer.

Anna’s big break came when pieces from her graduate collection were photographed by Rankin and featured in official publicity for Graduate Fashion Week 2010.

Her graduate collection ‘Tigers Vs Dragons’ featured hand-illustrated textiles depicting mythical creatures and legends of the Orient - dragons, tigers, fire feathers and cascades of water. Inspired by Japanese culture, Anna presented her exotic and highly elaborate prints on Kimono-like dresses in vibrant colours – and bagged a prestigious Zandra Rhodes Catwalk Textiles Award.

Since winning the award at Graduate Fashion Week and graduating Anna has worked at Alberta Ferretti’s Italian HQ and her prints were featured in the label’s SS11 collection.

With a buzz from international style press (including I-D, Marie Claire, Drapers and Stylist among others) and a growing fan base, Anna is now working on a new collection for her eponymous label – to be presented at London Fashion Week in September.
